Description
Margaret Hilda Thatcher, Baroness Thatcher, LG, OM, DStJ, PC, FRS, HonFRSC was a British stateswoman and Conservative politician who was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1990 and Leader of the Conservative Party from 1975 to 1990. She was the first female British Prime Minister and was known as the ‘Iron Lady’. She passed away in 2013 aged 87.
This first day envelope has been personally signed by Margaret Thatcher.
Some of the charities who conducted fund raising auctions wouldn’t have the time or funds to frame items they received. You can frame it yourself. A nice gift for someone who has an interest in UK politics. This would have been signed by Margaret in 2002.
